Shipping & Delivery Policy
1. General
Glassfibre & Resin Supplies Ltd is committed to processing and delivering orders as efficiently as possible. We work with a range of established delivery partners to provide nationwide delivery throughout Ireland.
Any delivery times displayed on our website, in product descriptions, or communicated by our customer service team are provided as estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
2. Order Processing & Dispatch
- Orders placed before 12:00pm on a working day are normally processed the same day.
- While we endeavour to dispatch orders promptly, same-day dispatch cannot be guaranteed.
- Orders may require additional processing time during periods of high demand, stock transfers, public holidays, warehouse closures, inventory checks, or other operational circumstances.
- Customers should allow up to 2 working days for dispatch where required.
Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude weekends, public holidays and company closure periods.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Standard Deliveries
Most standard orders are delivered within 1-3 working days following dispatch.
Large, Heavy & Regulated Goods
Additional processing and delivery time may be required for:
- Heavy parcels (25kg+)
- Roofing systems and roofing kits
- Trims and oversized products
- Pallet deliveries
- Hazardous goods
- Bulk orders
- Special-order products
Customers should allow additional time for these deliveries.
All delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, carrier availability and operational requirements.
4. Delivery Partners
We use trusted third-party carriers including, but not limited to:
- UPS
- An Post
- JMC
- The Pallet Network
- Prompto
- Approved Dangerous Goods Carriers
The delivery service used will depend on the nature, size, weight and classification of the goods ordered.
5. Delivery Information Requirements
To ensure successful delivery, customers must provide:
- Full name
- Accurate delivery address
- Valid Eircode
- Contact telephone number
- Any relevant delivery instructions
Glassfibre & Resin Supplies Ltd shall not be responsible for delays resulting from incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate delivery information supplied by the customer.
6. Delivery Delays
While we make every reasonable effort to meet estimated delivery times, delays can occur.
Glassfibre & Resin Supplies Ltd shall not be liable for delays that arise due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Road closures or traffic disruptions
- Industrial disputes or strikes
- Carrier network delays
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Customs inspections or regulatory checks
- Public emergencies
- Government restrictions
- Supply chain interruptions
- Shortages of raw materials or products
- Events commonly described as force majeure
Where possible, we will endeavour to keep customers informed of significant delays.
7. Delivery Dates
Unless expressly agreed in writing prior to purchase, delivery dates are estimates only.
Glassfibre & Resin Supplies Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Loss of income
- Loss of profits
- Loss of contracts
- Loss of business opportunity
- Consequential loss
- Indirect loss
arising from any delay in delivery.
Customers should not arrange contractors, installers, labour, transport or project schedules solely based on estimated delivery dates.
8. Failed Deliveries & Re-Delivery Charges
If a delivery cannot be completed because:
- No person is available to accept delivery;
- Access to the property is unavailable;
- Incorrect delivery details were provided;
- Contact information supplied is incorrect;
- Delivery instructions are incomplete or inaccurate;
we reserve the right to charge any additional costs incurred for storage, return transport or re-delivery.
9. Damaged, Lost or Missing Deliveries
If you believe your order is lost, incomplete or has arrived damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.
Customers should inspect goods promptly upon delivery and notify us of any visible damage or shortages within a reasonable period.
We will work with the relevant carrier to investigate and resolve any issues in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
10. Risk and Ownership
Ownership of goods passes to the customer once full payment has been received.

International Shipping
11. International Orders
At present, Glassfibre & Resin Supplies Ltd does not offer online international shipping for all products.
Many of the products we supply are large, heavy, specialist, hazardous or subject to transportation regulations, which may restrict shipping options outside Ireland.
However, international shipping may be available for selected products and destinations.
Customers outside Ireland who wish to enquire about delivery should contact our sales team before placing an order. We will review the products requested, destination country, quantity and transportation requirements and advise whether shipping can be arranged.
Any international shipping quotation provided will be subject to:
- Product suitability for export;
- Carrier availability;
- Customs and regulatory requirements;
- Dangerous goods regulations;
- Applicable shipping charges and surcharges.
The availability of international shipping is determined on a case-by-case basis and cannot be guaranteed.
