HX-Injection Medium – Laboratory Grade Latex For Dissection
A laboratory grade latex injection medium used in identifying blood vessels, allowing arteries and veins to appear more prominently, and as an aid in the dissection process.
Usage: Approximately 1 liter of injection medium is sufficient for an adult cadaver. Injection of the latex medium should be performed 2 weeks after embalming. Red injection medium is used for arteries. Blue injection medium is used for veins. A syringe can be used to inject smaller isolated areas. A pressure pump (~1 Kpa) can be used to inject larger areas. Depending on the volume, and area you are injecting, it can take up to a week for the latex to fully solidify, while smaller areas can be ready in 1-2 days.
Store the HX-Latex Injection Medium at temperatures ranging from 55F to 85F and protect it from freezing
Allergies: Read label carefully. Do not use this product if you have known allergies to rubber latex. If you’re unsure, bring the label to your doctor for their advice. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical help right away.
