Flexible Silicone Castable Foam
Soft two-component platinum silicone casting foam that is versatile and easy to use. Soma Foama™ can be used for a variety of industrial and special effects applications including making foam filled appliances, padding/seat cushioning, orthotics/orthopedics, potting and encapsulation of electrical circuits and vibration dampening.
Platinum Silicone Compatible
UV, water, high heat resistant (up to 350°F / 176°C), and resistant to oxidation and ozone degradation means Soma Foama™ offers overall longevity for many applications and will not dry out and crumble over time. Use in combination with platinum silicone rubber to create special effects masks, body suits, etc.
Easy To Use
Soma Foama™ can be measured by volume and are easy to mix and pour. Cured foams are soft, pliable and strong. Perfectly suited for cushioning applications or making prosthetic, orthotic and medical devices.
Project Design Versatility
Soma Foama™ are easy to color and capable of capturing fine texture and, for projects that require extremely fine detail, foams can be encapsulated by and bond to Smooth-On Platinum silicone rubbers like DragonSkin™ to produce lightweight pieces like masks, props, and medical training devices.
